A few practical details to help you plan your stay at The Fold.
Most of the rooms have steps up from the courtyard onto the terrace and into the rooms. This makes access by wheelchair rather difficult, as does the main gravel parking area.
However, The Old Workshop has its own parking space off the driveway, with smooth and level private access into the room. Also, if the entire site is booked for exclusive use for your group, the terrace walkways between rooms can be opened so that all suites can be accessed by wheelchair.

Our normal check-in time is after 3pm and check-out is by 11am.
It may occasionally be possible to provide an earlier check-in or later check-out, so if you have any specific needs in this regard, please contact us in advance of your arrival.
We will accommodate this if possible, but there may be an additional charge.
We operate an adult-only policy, the main purpose of which is to ensure we can provide a quiet and relaxing environment for all guests.
Sadly, we cannot accept dogs.
We have had several problems with dogs causing issues for the animals that live here, so we have taken the difficult decision to put the wildlife first and not allow dogs on the estate.
We apologise, as we know this will cause disappointment for some potential guests.
Yes. The oven is both a conventional oven and microwave. The hob has two rings, and we provide a frying pan and two saucepans. There are also earthenware dishes, a baking sheet and a roasting pan.
A Christmas dinner might be a stretch, but for most everyday meals for two it should work out fine.
But why cook when there are so many wonderful options on your doorstep only minutes away!

Our internet service is provided by Starlink and has historically given us reliable and fast connections.
Each room is given dedicated speeds of around 50–75Mbps, which should be more than adequate for most normal usage.
We recommend, however, that you put devices aside and enjoy the peace and quiet you can find here…
Cambridge is fortunate to be well served with hospital and other medical services.
In each suite there is an information book providing all the details you should need. There is also a first aid kit provided.
