Percheron Suite

Our bright and airy, Scandi-inspired suite, named after the Percheron horses that worked the land here in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Separate living and sleeping areas are divided by the original stable stalls we rescued from the buildings and lightly restored — keeping the years of marks and indents left by the horses.

What better than a soak in the indulgent free-standing bath after a day of sightseeing in Cambridge, while your partner cooks a meal in the full kitchen. Dining can be indoors at the table, or outdoors on the private terrace with table and parasol.

A walk-through wardrobe and dressing area leads onwards to the shower room, where you will find sumptuous towels and amenities supplied by our partner Wild England.

As with all our suites, a good night's sleep is assured with soft Egyptian cotton linens, our Signature Hypnos mattress and (in our opinion) the best pillows you will have laid your head on.

We have included what we hope is everything you need for a comfortable, enjoyable and practical stay — all personally chosen and tested by us, and constantly refined based on feedback from those who choose to stay. If you have a good idea, don't be surprised if we have incorporated it by the time you come again.
