Five years in the making, The Fold is now ready to welcome its first guests. Rescued from an uncertain future, this unique family-run private estate offers  guest accommodation in four luxurious suites — bookable individually, or together for an exclusive experience for a larger group.

Lovingly restored by the owners from the old stables, the suites retain the charm and character of their heritage, paired with the attention to detail expected from a boutique hotel. Situated around a French-inspired courtyard garden, it truly is a place to relax and unwind.

A breathtaking parkland setting; yours to roam and explore during your stay. Remote and peaceful, yet just five minutes' walk from a vibrant village centre with award-winning cafés, restaurants and pubs.

Highly accessible Cambridge is just 3 miles away by cycle, bus, car or taxi. Trains to and from London run every 30 minutes from Cambridge North Station. Stansted airport is 40 minutes away.

A sentence could not sum up how good this place is

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Everything you could ask for and more. The location is spot on, just a few minutes walk, through the countryside grounds, to pubs, shops and local eateries. The grounds are unreal. The hosts, Michael and Sue are so accommodating. The little touches from the farm, like eggs from the chickens were added bonuses. It was clean throughout. Such a tranquil place to stay with a lovely courtyard, including vegetable patches of which you can use when cooking. Will be staying again and would recommend staying to anyone! Thank you to Sue and Michael and we will see you again soon!
My partner and I have stayed in many lovely places over the years, but this wonderful spot hidden at the edge of Histon is a remarkable sanctuary. We've never seen anything like it. Sue and Michael were incredible hosts, and from the moment we arrived we felt utterly spoilt. Our stay at The Fold was filled with so many little moments of surprise and delight. The charming courtyard is clearly well loved, with vegetable planters and a greenhouse, and they have gorgeous chickens with the most luxurious coop! As for our accommodation itself, it was perfection. We honestly could not have asked for more. It was the perfect little hideaway for rest, reconnection and rewilding. We spotted deer and rabbits, roamed the land with a picnic, and settled in at their beautiful sunset point to end the day. Can not thank you and the family enough for a precious and truly magical time!

Absolutely fantastic stay from start to finish. The property was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The attention to detail was outstanding, and it was clear that a lot of care has gone into creating such a welcoming space. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area while still enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive, ensuring everything ran smoothly throughout our stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the facilities were excellent, and the overall experience exceeded all expectations. I've stayed in many places over the years, and this was genuinely one of the best. I wouldn't hesitate to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a first-class stay.
