Absolutely amazing place to stay. Everything you could ask for and more. The location is spot on, just a few minutes walk, through the countryside grounds, to pubs, shops and local eateries. The grounds are unreal. The hosts, Michael and Sue are so accommodating. The little touches from the farm, like eggs from the chickens were added bonuses. It was clean throughout. Such a tranquil place to stay with a lovely courtyard, including vegetable patches of which you can use when cooking. Will be staying again and would recommend staying to anyone! Thank you to Sue and Michael and we will see you again soon!

We had an amazing two nights at The Fold. Michael and Sue have created something truly special — impeccable attention to detail throughout, peaceful, and set on gorgeous farmland. It didn't feel like a B&B, it felt like being welcomed into a family who genuinely love what they've built. Honestly some of the best finishing I've seen at any boutique property. We can't wait to see how the place grows and cannot wait to go back.

Tranquil Retreat!

Stunning, peaceful location with a beautifully designed converted barn made to feel like a home - they paid attention to the small details (bed linen, towels, bath robes, kitchen amenities) we stayed in the Bridle Suite and was pure luxury. The grounds are lovely and would recommend going for evening walks to spot the wildlife. Michael is very friendly and always on hand for questions and recommendations. 10/10 and lucky to have experienced it so early on into their journey x

Have stayed in many airbnbs - but this one was absolutely magical and Sue and Michael were incredible hosts. Every single detail seen to perfection - the place was full of surprise and delight. Enchanting lodgings, land and community. Just stunning. Left feeling reconnected, reset and well-rested! Perfect cosy getaway for couples! Thank you sooo much! Can't wait to return.

Our stay at Michael's place was absolutely amazing! Thanks to his clear instructions, we easily found the place and checked in without any issues. Michael was incredibly helpful, responsive, and friendly throughout our entire communication and stay. We absolutely loved the beautiful view and all the space to walk around. Walking around the farm was a highlight because it looked fabulous, and we also had a chance to taste the farm's products, which were delicious! The room itself was amazing and came fully equipped with all the essentials we could possibly need. We are so glad we chose to stay here and will definitely return on our next trip to Cambridge!

Perfect experience.

I stumbled across this when I was looking for a hotel somewhere in the vicinity. This was a marvellously quiet place to stay (and work for a bit) - brilliant WiFi - and picturesque as hell to boot! Short walk to some lovely village pubs for supper!

We had a lovely weekend away at The Fold Cambridge, staying in "The Old Workshop" which is one of the four themed suites/cottages at the privately run Abbey Farm. The generous hosts had laid on a lovely welcome pack which as well as the complementary drinks, and sorted our first breakfast with fresh eggs and local bread. The bed was sumptuous for our cosy nights there in these newly converted old stable blocks. Wandering around the "farm", which is now wild meadows, woods, a pond with chickens and wild animals (deer, rabbits, squirrels, bird and badgers, the later we weren't lucky enough to see these as we had early nights and late mornings). It was a short hop on the bus into Cambridge for a visit to The Fitzwilliam Museum, to have our dose of culture and city bustle before returning to what was the sanctuary of The Fold. We have much more of Cambridge we wish to explore, so will return staying here, working our way through the themed suites.

Amazing and peaceful

Absolutely amazing place, perfect little getaway.

The location is amazing. Quiet country living a stones throw from Cambridge. The rooms are 5 star. Every little detail has been considered. Luxury towels, robes, huge waterfall shower with great pressure. Fresh eggs and breakfast bits already in the room. We looked over the gardens which is full of planted vegetables and fruit. Michael the owner gave us a tour on arrival and greeted us with a glass of Prosecco and we chatted about the whole project he and his wife have built there. I can't recommend this place enough. The level of detail is fantastic and no expense has been spared on the rooms. Everything feels luxury and the scenery and tranquility is first class. We will 100% be back!

Although only a few minutes from Histon town centre it feels very much out in the countryside with some beautiful views. No kids catered for so very quiet and relaxing. The air conditioned rooms are beautifully prepared and furnished. All the fittings and fixings are of a very high standard. I could not have wanted for more - luxury bathroom with walk in Shower (stand alone bath is in the bedroom with romantic candle lights provided), extremely comfortable bed and bedding, very tastefully fitted out lounge with fully functioning kitchen. Fantastic gardens inc gas BBQ, fresh fruit to pick and extensive grounds to walk through. Covered parking with power for EV's. And if all that wasn't enough, the Hosts are the most obliging I have experienced in a long time. This really was a place I did not want to leave. Everyone deserves a special treat and this really is special. I highly recommend you book a stay.

The most perfect home away from home. Magical in every sense of the word. An unbelievably kind, considerate and warm host whose deserved pride shines through in every detail, from the quality of furnishings through to personally greeting you as you drive into the property. The thought, quality and attention to detail shine through in every possible way. 10/10 would recommend and will be returning.

We loved our stay at The Fold. It is a beautifully designed space, in gorgeous rural surroundings, yet a short walk into the village with great places to eat and drink. The accommodation is luxurious - much thought and creativity has clearly gone into every detail. Michael was a great host, responsive and generous. The bed was amazingly comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the bathroom was beautifully functional with sumptuous towels. Everything was perfect.

Wow! This is truly one of the most exquisite places I've ever stayed. The accommodation is luxurious; huge bath, super comfy bed, beautiful furnishings and wonderful toiletries. I wanted a night away from it all and this did not disappoint. I spent the afternoon in the grounds with a picnic and the evening enjoying the birdsong on the terrace. I'm planning on booking here regularly. What a find! If I could give ten stars, I would.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming, caring, and accommodating from the moment we arrived, making us feel completely at home. The thoughtful touches really made the experience special, fresh eggs, bread, butter, shortbread, and drinks waiting for us were such a lovely surprise and showed the level of care that goes into every detail. The facilities were outstanding, beautifully presented, and finished to such a high standard. The bath within the bedroom space was a real highlight and made the stay feel extra relaxing and luxurious. Everything about the stay deserves top ratings. Fantastic hosts, a beautiful place, and an experience we won't forget. We would recommend it to anyone and will definitely be coming back!

My partner and I have stayed in many lovely places over the years, but this wonderful spot hidden at the edge of Histon is a remarkable sanctuary. We've never seen anything like it. Sue and Michael were incredible hosts, and from the moment we arrived we felt utterly spoilt. Our stay at The Fold was filled with so many little moments of surprise and delight. The charming courtyard is clearly well loved, with vegetable planters and a greenhouse, and they have gorgeous chickens with the most luxurious coop! As for our accommodation itself, it was perfection. We honestly could not have asked for more. It was the perfect little hideaway for rest, reconnection and rewilding. We spotted deer and rabbits, roamed the land with a picnic, and settled in at their beautiful sunset point to end the day. Can not thank you and the family enough for a precious and truly magical time!

Absolutely amazing stay from start to finish. Michael was so welcoming and responsive, with lovely touches like champagne on arrival, fresh food and drinks in the fridge, and help with the barbecue. The Airbnb was pristine and felt genuinely luxurious - no detail had been missed. The allotment and garden area were such a special extra too. One of the nicest places we've stayed, and we'll 100% be back!

A really lovely escape and peaceful haven to relax in.

I stay in a lot of places for work and rarely come across a place like this. Attention to detail in the room was exceptional and the setting and surroundings much more welcoming than a hotel. Loved Stir cafe for breakfast just out the back gate! Will be back.

Beautiful barns and setting! Michael and Sue are helpful & responsive hosts in a lovely, peaceful setting. Each barn has its own character and are very well equipped and comfortable. The shared garden space is a great plus on a nice day. Would highly recommend for a stay!
